lovely people of steemit, i deem it necessary to share with you about my passion and a dream to be a philanthropist.
As a young child I grew up from a very poor society and background so I have seen the importance of a philanthropist.
To begin with,the word philanthropist is gotten from philanthropy and greek playwright Aeschylus defines philanthropy as “love of humanity” . Now let us look at the word philanthropist, in simple terms, philanthropist is a person who donates time,money,experience, skills or talent to help create a better world. Anyone can be a philanthropist ,regardless of status or net worth.
As a young person having this dream I always ask myself how can i become a philanthropist,not until i heard one famous motivational speaker named uncle ebo then i realise that you do not need millions of dollars to be a philanthropist. you can simply give or contribute “time, talent or treasure” toward doing good, but you can increase the impact of your giving by thinking strategically as the saying goes “ the secret of living is giving”.
