Poem: Lonely

Sometimes we feel lonely
And think we have been dejected by all
We feel everyone turned their back on us
Especially when we are heartbroken
We feel they left a void in our hearts
Which no one can replace

But listen! do not be drained by this
Yes it really hurts
But there is always a reason to smile again
If they were truly meant for you, they would stay
We fail to notice the door which is opening
And still, focus on the one which is closing

Remember that life has its own ups and downs
We wish we got what we always wanted
But it gives us what we are meant to have
The most important thing is to keep up the pace
And everything will be ok
