growing up as a kid, I had this fear of ghosts always being around me at night especially in the dark. Those days, I had a believe that the spirit of the dead always roam around looking for who to possess or use most especially those who died untimely. It all happened one very day when my parents wasn't at home and I had to be the parents to my younger one i guess you all know what that means from cooking of meal to cleaning the house and other house chores. At the end of the day, at about 8:30 pm when I was so so exhausted it occurred to me that I haven't brought in the clothes I spread outside and it was about raining. The family I came from you dear not leave your clothes outside so due to the fear of the unknown ( my parents wasn't home) I had to go park the clothes. On reaching outside I started hearing different noises let me say imaginery noises I had already started saying my last prayers because I taught ghosts have come to possess me and take me to their kingdom. In the process of hurrying up so that I could return inside,I fell and that was when the whole drama started. I heard a voice call my name and asking me what was wrong I on the other hand was responding with fear (while all this was happening there wasn't light because of the rain so everywhere was dark) I found my self having that conversation Wich lasted for about a minute and just that minute where they conversation was about coming to an end the light was restored. Guess who I was conversing with oh yes your guess is right it was my mom. Due to the fear, I never recognized her voice and her on the other part already knew my fear so she played along making sure I was relaxed and gave me a reason never to be scared again. Was it a coincidence meeting her at that spot? You can answer that but as I said earlier we don't leave clothes outside and she was also there to park the clothes. He'd coming wasn't expected but that single experience made me brave and also from that day I could do virtually everything in the dark without being scared of ghosts it whatever.
