My Three-Step Plan On How To Grow As A Blogger On Steemit ! ! !

Back then, I always wanted to grow as a successful blogger here on Steemit. But I never did get a chance to do that since I got, well, too impatient. During the past three years, I learned a lot of things about life. I learned that sometimes, we have to be patient to achieve the things that we want. We need to work hard and pave our pathways towards our goals in life. And that's why I returned to Steemit. I now have a clear mindset as to what I want to do and how to do it. My goal? Return to Steemit, grow as a blogger, and hopefully end up successful. Now, since I have that goal in mind, I'm planning to work on that as soon as I can, which is now. But, of course, I want to help other aspiring Steemit Bloggers to grow with me.

So the question now, is, how can I grow as a blogger? And what do I need to do to achieve that?

Say no more, that's why I'm here. And I'll be presenting to you my Three-Step plan on how to grow as a blogger on Steemit!

Step 1: Stick To Only One Subject

Admittedly, I am a blogger with many random posts. Posts that I highly suggest you not to read. There are posts about my travels, activities, poems, and resteems about other random things. Yeah, not so consistent of me. But remember, our initial goal is to grow as a blogger. So to do that, we must be consistent with what we post.

Now, how do we become consistent? Well, we need to focus our posts around only one specific subject. Why? Our blogs are meant for our readers. It would only disappoint them if our posts were random. Say, for example, we wrote about a recipe for a good dish for our first post. But then parkoured our way to vacation travels the next. That would be disastrous since that might kill our readers' interest in following us. In contrast, say, If our posts would consistently be about cooking and recipes, then readers who take interest will be sure to come back for more. Thus, gaining a consistent flow of readers. And in time, a consistent flow of upvotes.

Truth be told, we can't delete what we have already posted. But it isn't too late to fix that. From now, try to focus on only one specific subject. And we must be sure to stick to it. It could be about anything, as long as we're confident enough not to run out of ideas.

Step 2: Engage And Support

Assuming we already have a subject in mind, now what? Well, first of all, we need to start posting about said subject. We have to get the attention of our desired audience, which will consist of people that are interested in the subject that we present. But how do we look for those people? It's not like they will magically appear and support us as we wish. So we will look for them through another method. Engage and support. Now, how do we do that?

It's quite simple. There is a reason why there are communities within Steemit, and that is for people who have the same interests to mingle with each other. All we need to do, is to engage with those communities that possess the subject that we partake in.

Another is to look for individuals who post about the same subject that we do. The Steemit community itself is for bloggers to support one another. Don't be a lone wolf and try to engage more with other people.

Step 3: Grow As A Blogger

To be completely honest with you all, based on my past experience it is extremely easy to be discouraged. One day, you might find yourself between a rock and a hard place, not knowing what to do. But you shouldn't give up. The path to being a great blogger is arduous, but you know what they say, "Keep your eyes on the prize." If we manage to pull through despite the many challenges and difficulties that we face, the rewards and the joy that we recieve would be immeasurable.

I can't guarantee that after following these steps will make you a big shot. But I can guarantee that this would help each of us grow as a blogger. I, for one, haven't done these steps.
