The alchemist is a novel based on a silly dream of a young sheppard. He dreamt of a hidden treasure and with the herd of sheep he chased his dream. He undertook a whole lot of challeges and kept his patience on the way. He repeatedly had lost and grown interest on his dreamt hidden treasure with the coming difficulties. His dilema and the way he had seen his half of the life chasing that hidden treasure is the best piece of literature in my eyes.
