2 Chronicles chapter 8 verse 2. The cities which Hiram returned to Solomon, Solomon built them and settled the children of Israel there.

Hiram was the son of king Abibaal of Tyre who was a good friend of king David, Solomon's father.

When these two Kings had died, their sons still maintained the bilateral relationship.

King David, though desired to build a house for God but was restrained because he fought wars and killed. God preferred the clean Solomon to do so.

David had bought some building materials down. So when Solomon wanted to start building, he discovered that the materials won't be enough for the kind of edifice in his mind. Because he had not spoilt that relationship the father started, he went to Hiram and requested for assistance in labour and materials. He was obliged with a reward of foodstuffs
for Hirams people. Solomon settled the deal and added an extra by giving Hiram a portion of the Jewish land, Galilee to be precise.

Hiram rejected this land, calling it Kabul meaning waste land. (1Kings 9:10 - 13)

Solomon wasn't offended at this, rather he took back the land, repackeged it and built beautiful houses there and housed his people. This land was so beautiful that Jesus started and ended His journey there --GALILEE.

IF HE HAD TAKEN OFFENCE THE RELATIONSHIP WILL SPOIL AND THERE WILL BE NO GALILEE TODAY.
