I have seen reviews that praise this movie as a short glimpse into another world and that justifies its incomplete and open-ended plot. However, that should not be an excuse for not explaining character relations and history. I don't understand why Nice would stay behind to defend Waikiki because I don't know what their history. If you want me to base it off of a few lines of dialogue, it's not enough.
