SCARY MOVIE : CONTEST.

Well, the movie IT 2017 is one of the scary movies I have watched. I don’t think I can watch a horror film alone. I try to watch with friends because I don’t trust myself to be brave enough to finish it. Horrors normally make me scared of the environment around me. Haha those Nigerian movies used to make me shower while looking around for imaginary ghosts.😂

Anyway I watched IT with my roommates as my roommate had told me about it excitedly. We made fun that just imagine if we were going to watch it in 3D we would most probably pee on ourselves. We started the movie at about 7pm. This movie was about this weird clown that used to feed on children’s fears. This clown was called Pennywise.

The first boy was bullied at school so he did not have friends. One day as he was coming from school, it was raining so he made a paper boat and he started playing with it. However, the water took it into a trench which connected to a man hole. He pushed his hand to get his boat and then he saw the face of a clown. The clown pretended to be helpful. Then it lured him in the trench and took him to its hiding place.

He had friends and family looking for him. Notices were put out about his getting lost. However his brother noticed something when he disappeared as he was watching him play then when looked back only to find that he had gone. More kids kept on disappearing and the brother of the first child to disappear decided to gather his friends to go and get all the kids that had be captured.

They realized the trick was that Pennywise fed on fears therefore they had to fill their minds with all the positive emotions they could master as he could not stand such emotions. They managed to save their friends. This part was the most scary because we notice that Pennywise’s mouth has various layers of tiny short and sharp teeth which extend and they are the ones he uses to swallow the souls of the children.

After watching this movie I had to stop myself from thinking about his face because it looks mischievous but when he opens his mouth then you see danger approaching.
