A typical way in which these expressions are misunderstood is to describe them as if life is like this naturally following the current mind. As such, he is described as being in a state where it is okay to experience any kind of thought, that is, no matter what happens.

Of course, that could be the original meaning.

In practice, however, the main way these expressions are used is for the purpose of ignoring and forgetting thoughts.

In fact, these expressions serve more accurately to describe the artificial state created by psychotropic drugs with a certain effect, than the natural state that flows with the mind.

It is rather an expression spoken in a state where all worries are gone and the mind and body are very relaxed, that is, as if the mind is lost or not important at all.

"Ah, the important thing. It will work somehow. I don't know.

So the form of expression is machoism, and the content is relaxation.

And, in both form and content, it tells us that what we fear most is right there.

Because he dreams of machoism in which the person he fears the most shows excessive strength and can solve everything on his own, and at the same time dreams of relaxation in which the person he fears the most can rest his tensed mind and body full of worries. about solutions.

In particular, modern machoism is not just about a strong body. Rather, it is the language that corresponds to the functional competence of the brain.

For this reason, those who pursue this modern manliness enjoy the following comments.

"Because I'm a genius."

Trues who are hard on the body are cute, but those who tend to such intellectual machos aren't that cute.

This is because this intellectual machoism has the trait that it dominates everything like a single god and tries to act like a great teacher to people.

To quote this, intellectual machoism means having the intention to dominate, control, and manipulate the mind.

And the principle adopted to realize this intention is relaxation.

Relaxationism is first applied to oneself, and begins with putting oneself in a state of relaxation through various relaxation methods such as medicine, meditation, body exercises, etc. In this way, he positions himself as a genius and a great sage who has nothing to fear in this world, and tries to spread the relaxation mechanism to people through those external authorities.

In this way, the subject of relaxationism seeks to achieve the goal of putting people into a state of relaxation.

In other words, he tries to manifest the intention of putting people into a state of mental and physical weakness called relaxation.

This is because only when more people become mentally and physically weak, the true source of fear disappears and they can act as if they are the Almighty who can effectively control everything.

What does this mean?

That is, the most fearful person uses the form of masculinity and the content of relaxationism to put others in a state of tentative fear of becoming mentally and physically weak, thus attempting to escape the fear. In other words, it means that the person who is most afraid wants to take over his fear by making others like helpless slaves submit to him.

I thought this was an interesting post! I don't entirely agree with the final conclusion, but there's lot's of food for thought. As a man myself I would argue that there is little escape from manliness as a man. The man described chose precisely the least macho, most peaceful mode of living, but even then could only choose it out of his machisma. I suppose i would tend to generalise this to a 'will to power' though.
