||| A Short Story (~400 words) for all The Beautiful Souls out there… |||
Exactly 167 years ago, a group of 6 Elite scientists from all around the world came together and began a project that would change the fate of humanity forever for good. They named it "Link". It all began with amazing innovations and ideas but eventually, time caught up to all those 6 guys.
But, their legacy, their project, lived on. An Institute of its own type, based on them, was established soon after their demise.
100 years went by. A lot of new innovations, inventions, ideas for the betterment of humanity came forth by all the amazing people that came and went by. But the "Link" never got any more progress than it already had. Not even a single guy, in all those years, could further move the project ahead. The only thing that seemed to grow in these years, consistently, was the number of seats. What started from 20, has now reached a whopping of 1000 seats.
But It was all about to change when Robert came into the picture. A young, passionate guy who takes pride in his work and all the amazing things that the Male race has done in all these existing years from fire to wheels to communication and to come beyond… Although he maintains a very strong reputation for working alone, yet he is the one that cracked the equation and gave the world that it deserved for, now, around a century. Link.
Veronica, a 21-year-old girl, passionate yet composed and a wannabe scientist, takes her step to an institution with 1000 smartest guys from all over the world. Why? She is there to tell Robert that she found a major issue with his equation and that too in a fully packed conference, with all the people staring at her.
"Questions at the end" Robert ended his sentence, who was the speaker at this conference, which was about the century-old project "Link" that he just deployed and how did he approach it.
After the meeting ended, Veronica Introduced herself to Robert, backstage and told him about the fault she found.
"And I might have the solution for this." Veronica ended with this after her 5-minute long explanation.
"You are a girl" Robert replied
"Yeah" Veronica Replied
"Hmm...Okay, Let's make 'Link 2.0' then" Robert replied
a/n: yes, it's that simple.
