Hello mga ka steemit!!

It's me again joining this contest I just encountered. I was so excited to share about this contest since as a child I remember listening to a lot of wonderful fairy tales my teacher would read in front of the class.

Among the stories she read my favorite and remarkable story I can never forget is the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.

I know a lot of you know about the story but let me retell the story.

Jack, a poor country boy, trades the family cow for a handful of magic beans, which grow into an enormous beanstalk reaching up into the clouds. Jack climbs the beanstalk and finds himself in the castle of an unfriendly giant. The giant senses Jack's presence and cries.

Outwitting the giant, Jack is able to retrieve many goods once stolen from his family, including a bag of gold, an enchanted goose that lays golden eggs and a magic golden harp that plays and sings by itself. Jack then escapes by chopping down the beanstalk. The giant, who is pursuing him, falls to his death, and Jack and his family prosper.

This fairy tale is my favorite because as a child I have always imagined myself being Jack. I have always hoped I'd find a beanstalk I could climb to and save my family from poverty. I grew up having less, most of the things I get must be shared by my 3 younger siblings. From food, clothing and food. I never had things given for me alone to use. And since I'm the eldest I have to give way most of the time.

I remember Jack doing his best to sell the cow they have so he could bring money to his mother and sick sister. I used to find ways to earn money too when I was a child. I remember working for me to be able to help my mother.

But God is good to me, because just like Jack I got my success not by outwitting anyone but by climbing my way up and that is reaching my ambition. The story tells us that the way to success is long and difficult, at times on your way you meet struggles, storms that will shake your faith but just like Jack he fought and run his way to escape. Bringing with him the goose that lays gold eggs and the golden harp.

I am like Jack, I will do anything to achieve my dreams. I am willing to do anything for my family so that they will never suffer like I did, just like Jack who only wishes for his family to prosper.

Jack reminds us that we should never give up for us to be successful, even if it takes to risk something. Coz you can not get anything without giving up something.
