Greetings friends of Steemit and Colombia-Original
There's a ritual of shaving head to offer the hair to Tirumala Tirupati Temple in Andhra Pradesh, a State of India. It is sacrificed by both male and female. It's believed that your prayers will fulfill if you sacrifice your hair to the temple.
It's is very difficult to accept the dare to shave particularly for women. Many women start crying at point of starting. But as soon as they start chanting Govinda Govinda it becomes very easy as one feels an Inner strength and blessed.
As one lady expressed her experience, I state her words "Barber started shaving my head and after I started the chant trust me since then till now I have felt so liberating and it was just the way I thought that I'm confident about it and it was just those few moments that you know I felt kind of like it was that it's going to be tough but starting the chant it was all perfectly normal and I'm so so glad that I took this step and I did it. Trust me it is such a Divine feeling and ever since I shaped my head you know right from the moment I started feeling very powerful from within...."
The daily collection of hair is arround half a ton (500kg) from devotees which is actually sold afterwards to raise fund for charitable activities.
Today I'll burn 20 steem to Steem power. I took a screenshot of wallet to show my SP before power up. My steem power was 3,529.102.

I signed in wallet with valid key. I clicked on arrow beside Steem to open the drop down menu. I selected power up button. I took 20 Steem to power up. Clicked on the OK for confirmation.

As power up is successfully done I have taken another screenshot to share the Steem power after power up. My Steem power is found to be 3,549.103. So my power up is precisely 20.001 Steem.

Thank you for verifying my post and feedback. In the Wikipedia picture some devotees are seen with clean shaven head.
