Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I'm going to be participating in the Steemit Engagement Challenge in the Colombia-Original community. Where My Flag, My Kitchen presented as a challenge for us. I found the challenge very cool because making your country's flag out of food is really a matter of creativity. I have never tried. So today I will also use my creativity to make a Bangladesh flag with food.

Create the flag of your country with elements and/or food present in your kitchen.

According to the challenge of the competition, I will make a very popular dish of Bangladesh called semolina halwa. And with that I will give the shape of the flag of my country Bangladesh. So let's first find out all the ingredients I need to make semolina halwa, I have presented below:

Cooking Ingredients to make flag of Bangladesh.

Semolina 4 tbsp	Sugar 3 tsp	Ghee 2tsp

Cardamom	Red food color	Green food color

Step : 1

• First I take the semolina in a pan and dry roast it well. I will add the cardamoms during the folding. After frying for 2 to 3 minutes I will add 2 teaspoons of ghee to it. Then again mix it well.

Step : 2

• Once the semolina is coated with ghee, I will add some water to it. And mix the semolina well with water.

Step : 3

• Then I have to add 3 teaspoons of sugar to the watered semolina. Those who like to eat more sweets can give 4 teaspoons. After that, the semolina should be stirred well until it does not come together..

Step : 4

• When I see that the cooked semolina has congealed, I will take it out of the oven. I have used both bowls here. Because I will now mix food color in the semolina.

Step : 5

• As you can see in the picture below, I have colored semolina in two bowls, one in green color and the other in red color. Then I will make the flag of Bangladesh with these two colors of semolina.

What do you think of cooking challenges? Are they to your liking?

I love the challenge of cooking. As I love Bangladeshi food, I like to participate in many food challenges on this platform and I have participated in many challenges before. Actually we all know that cooking works like an art. The quality of the food lies in the way you present it beautifully with your creativity. For example, the idea of making flags out of food never occurred to me. But through this competition today I have a new experience. Which is an instructive matter for me. That's why I love to participate in cooking challenges. I will always have an interest in various cooking techniques.

Do you think it is worth investing Steem to create this type of content?

I think it's a little expensive to invest in Steam to make this kind of content. Because currently the prices of many food items have increased in Bangladesh. And besides, if you want to make a dish for the challenge, many times you have to buy a lot of ingredients from the market. Many times its cost goes beyond the affordability. I have created different content like this just to participate in food challenges on Steemit.

Do you have any anecdote that happened in the process of creating your flag?

An anecdote that happened while making the flag in Bangladesh happened when I cooked semolina and kept two separate bowls before mixing the colors. And that's when I went to mix the colors, I just added a little bit of color. I thought that maybe the color of the flag would come out with a little color mixing. But I don't see that I was wrong. By the 3rd time when I mixed the green and red colors, I got both the desired colors. And in the middle of it, my hands got colored. Which looked like a design.
