Hello to everyone in this wonderful community today and in the steemit platform. I greet you all in good spirit and I want to believe that we all are doing just great today and if so we give God the praise.
I welcome you all to the last week of this season's steemit engagement contest that has been brought forward by the steemit team in other to improve engagement among users in this platform at large.
Today, I will be participating in the engagement contest that this community has come up with to enable users interact with each other and most importantly share knowledge among themselves. I urge us all to relax as I drop my entry regarding this contest today.
What is your opinion regarding animal abuse? Have you witnessed any event of animal abuse?
My opinion regarding animal abuse is totally unacceptable and inhumane. In as much as these animals are not human, it is not right to treat them without respect or any form disregarding them in any way.
In as much as they have life in them and they can breath in and out, it is expedient that we treat them with right and caution. For the fact that they do not literally talk does not mean they should be taken advantage of.
We should all learn to treat animals in good manner and not just disregard them and treat them carelessly as if they do not have life in them. What differs humans from animals is just the thinking faculty and mode of interaction but aside that we have similarities and on that note, they should be treated with respect.
Yes , I have seen a scenario by which a man chained a dog to his motorcycle and this man began to ride on the motorcycle with the dog chasing after the motorcycle because it was chained to the motorcycle so the dog has no choice but to start running.
Now that is animal abuse. Why on earth will someone chain a dog to a motorcycle and began to ride on it when the dog is chained to that motorcycle? The dog has life in it and as such can not run on the same speed as the motorcycle. This is inhumane and uncalled for as the dog is been abused through this process.
Are there animals living on the streets in your community? What do you think is the cause?
Yes there are animals on the street roaming around and this is as a result of the abuse they must have gotten from wherever they came from. Dogs are sensitive and as such they know who value them and who does. So immediately they find out that they are been abused, they quickly leave the place and look for another resettlement.
Another aspect why this happened is lack of proper care they get from the owners. The reason why most dogs roam around is to scout for food to eat and this is as a result of the little or no care they get from their owners. So these are certain reasons why dogs are seen on the streets more often.
Do you have or had any pet adopted at home? Tell us about her and what do you do to make your pet feel loved? Notes of interest: > If you like, you can draw, show a video or an image of your pet.
I do have a pet at home and her name is Smart. We had many pet before for the manner by which we handled them made leave. But this current pet has been receiving good treatment from us all. We feed her so well and she actually likes it here.
The things I do to my pet feel loved is the aspect where I do create time to play with her. She likes it when we play with her just like how we humans love to be cared for by another. These animals are not exceptional, they equally wants to be loved and feel loved.
I make sure that I feed my pet morning, afternoon and night as though she always have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Giving her the best treats and also taking her out sometimes for a stroll is also a way of treating her right and make her feel loved.
The above are things I do to keep my animals and make her feel acceptable and wanted in the area for we all know that just like humans, animals are also sensitive and actually feel loved when they perceive one. We should all learn to treat our animals right and always care for them.
