A SHORT STORY

Today, on 18th June, on Father's Day, I would like to tell you the story of an infinitely loving father and his innocent daughter.

Bernard was a very poor farmer and lived in a small village, his wife died about 14 years ago while giving birth to a daughter. From then till today, Bernard was raising his daughter alone and his only wish was to bring up his daughter very well and make her a very beautiful, brave, intelligent and honest person.

When their daughter, Lily, turned 14, Bernard realized that there were too many things girls only told their mothers or other women about. So he decided to remarry in his mind, for the good of his daughter.

He also talked to his daughter about this, she too was very happy to hear from her father. Then one day Bernard went to a function in the village . There he met a beautiful woman named Nellie and their meeting turned into friendship. Seeing the opportunity, both of them got married in a simple ceremony and Nellie now came to Bernard's house.

Initially, after marriage, Nellie gave a lot of love to Bernard's daughter Lily. Bernard was overjoyed to see that Nellie would take full care of his daughter. But after a few days, Nellie started showing her true form as soon as Barnard left home for his work. Nellie starts misbehaving with Lily and starts beating her up.

Lily also understood very well that her stepmother Nellie did not love her. But Lily never said anything about this to her father. Days were passing and poor Bernard did not know that his daughter was no longer happy. Nellie had hatched a plan to get Lily out of her way by killing her.

Nellie used to call Lily very affectionately in front of her father and used to show false love.

'My dear child, come here.' Come eat sweets

But when Barnard was not there, the stepmother would call to him in her hoarse voice

"Where did you die, Lily?" Come here quickly.

There was a tree with colorful leaves outside Lily's house. She used to sit there crying because of her mother's rude behavior. A handsome young man Samuel from that village was also comes to meet Lily there . Lily usually shared her heartache with him and they fell in love with each other .

One day he proposed marriage to Lily. Incidentally Nellie was listening to them. She quickly came in front of both of them and said angrily, what are you doing here Lily.

Angry Nellie asked that young man never to come here again, we are not marring Lily with you . The poor young man returned from there with a broken heart.

The step mother's anger reached very high . She ordered Lily to work in the field.
Poor Lily went to work quietly in the fields. Suddenly, Nellie arrives there and hits Lily's hand with a wooden stick.

Lily's arm was broken. She moaned in pain. Nellie laughed and said, "Don't be afraid of these bruises from now this is just the beginning of your destiny."
She again ordered Lily to look down. As Lily bows her head to look down, the cruel mother strikes her over the head with that wooden stick, the wounded Lily feinted on the spot, Nellie buries her in the field, and a pile of chili peppers planted over her corpse.

A passing angel sees Nellie's bad behavior and cruelty over Lily, so he decides to teach Nellie a lesson. After Nellie leaves, He take out Lily from the ground with the help of Samuel, she was breathing, Angel sends Lily to a secret place with Samuel.

After a few days, a chili plant grew in Nellie's field.

When Nellie tried to pluck the chilies, a voice came from the plant – Nellie acted cruelly and Lily lost her life.

When Nellie heard this sound, she was stunned and immediately uprooted the plant and threw it away.Then after a few days, she planted a pumpkin plant at the place where the chilly plant was thrown. From this also came the same voice "Nellie done cruelty, and Lily lost her life." Nellie uprooted the plant in the middle of the night in fear and threw it into the river.

This plant, which was actually the same angel, went into the river and became a lotus flower.
Coincidentally, when Lily's father was returning from his business trip by boat, he saw a lotus flower, he thought to take it for Lily.

As soon as he touched the flower, a voice came from it-
Nellie done cruelly, and Lily lost her life. Bernard was shuddered.

As soon as he reached home he asked his wife, "Where is Lily?"
Nellie lied, 'She's gone to my mom's house.'

Barnard took the lotus flower in his hand and said, please come out in your real form and tell us the complete cruelty of this cruel lady.
Hearing the compassionate words of the father, the angel came out of the flower and told him everything in front of Nellie.
Hearing these words, Bernard kicks Nellie out of his house. Suddenly Samuel comes there in front of Bernard and tell him that Lily is safe, lisning this Bernard cries with happiness.
And then he marries Lily to Samuel within a few days.

Bernard always regrets marrying that evil woman.
