New Contest: Tell me how you got to Steemit | by @yakspeace// 15% for @colombiaoriginal

Hello beautiful souls of @colombiaoriginal i hope you guys are all doing grate. It really a privilege for me to be here participating in this wonderful contest organized by this Noble Community and @nahela on the topic, Tell us how you got to steemit, indeed everyone has someone who Introduce him or her to steemit, some saw it online but i most say that most people in steemit today where Introduce by their friends or love once and I'm not exception from that. So on this faithful day i will be telling you all that person that told me about steemit but before then i want to sincerely appreciate @nahela for organizing this amazing contest.

I got to know about steemit last year January 2021 through my friend @simonnwigwe during our final year in the university, I know this young man since our first year in the university so when he came up with the good news about steemit I never believed him at first though 😉 and that was because,I have come encountered with some platform that are scammers so I told him that anything online I'm not interested he smiles and said my dear, I also said that the first time I hard about steemit but seat down let me educate you more about steemit.

Since I know him, he is a type of person that don't believe in online stuff because of the rate at which scammers are everywhere, but seeing him show more interest in steemit I know it was something good, so I asked him to tell me more about it.

When he explained I was not still convenience but he said i should give it a try and if i can not do it then i should forget about it. I was like no problem, so on that day he helped me to sign up to steemit.But the only issue i was having back then was the fact that i don't know how to write 🤦🏼‍♀️ so i asked him how can i do it because this is my first time, he said i should not worry that he will put me through, that very day he guide me on how to write my achievement one task which i did, i was very happy that i was able to write something that day.

So most often than known During our brake hour's in school he will seat me down and show me how to write and article and always some of the basics things i need to know about the platform, gradually i was picking more interest in steemit, Anytime I'm having any challenges, he will always put me through seriously he is a good listener and a good teacher. His encouragement is what has been keeping me going in this platform.

I can't stop thanking @simonnwigwe for introducing me to this wonderful platform because i have benefited a lot. Not only by the reward but i have learned so many skills in this platform such as how to recycle used materials, cooking, drawing and Writing a content because, as I said earlier I don't know anything about content writing, even now I'm not still perfect but i thank God for the knowledge i have gained so far in this platform. Also I was able to meet with different users worldwide some of them are now my friends and we do chart and I also learn from them as well.. Seriously everything about steemit is just unique and I most say that I'm so lucky to be here in this platform.
