The male is called a peacock

The two Asian species belong to the Blue or Pakistani Mountains which are actually the green fairs of the subcontinent of Pakistan and Southeast Asia.

One type of African is the Congo Peacock which belongs only to the Congo Basin.

The male canopy is known for its piercing blacks and their unusual plumage.

The latter is particularly prominent among the Asiatic species in which the secret feathers are spotted or spotted by the eyes which they display as part of the mating ritual.

Extensive beach work and peacocks have been the subject of extensive scientific discussion.

Charles Darwin suggested that they serve to attract women and that the salient features of men were developed through sexual choice.

More recently Amots Zahvi has developed his own disability theory I suggested that these features serve as an honest indicator of men s fitness as it would be harder for less fit men to avoid such a large and prominent structure.
