How I joined steemit [4]

Previously I talked about how a friend of mine gave me an old phone without a battery and I bought a battery from my savings for a new phone o thought my struggles to join steemit was finally over until I discovered that I can't access the phone's gmail app to get a code from steemit while registering. I tried my mum's phone but network was very bad at home.

Like I said the option I had was to take my mum's phone somewhere a little bit far from home where network is very stable but my mum never agreed to that, I can't be taking her phone far from her, what if something happens to phone and phones were expensive even that tie, buying a new phone was always difficult for us that's why I didn't have a phone even as I was in SS 3.

Assuming my mum knew how valuable steemit is she would have agreed without thinking twice, then no one in my family knew anything about steemit, I was just trying my best to join the platform by all means. I kept on trying the gmail app in my phone but it wasn't still working so I decided to try my friend's phone, he downloaded the Gmail app and I can't remember if I successfully logged in or maybe we got distracted by one of our teachers who came to the class to teach.

I almost gave up but I didn't have any hope and I kept on trying it with my mum's phone especially in the night. The email successfully logged in but network was bad again as I couldn't start the registration process. Another tragedy befell me, the old phone I was using since ending of December 2021, spoilt in school in the beginning of February 2022. I was holding it in the classroom and I saw a teacher coming unexpectedly so I wanted to put the phone inside my school bag but it didn't enter and it touched the wood below our desk forcefully.

I picked it up and kept it inside my bag till when school closed and I removed it from my bag while going home, I tried to turn it on but it refused to on. I calmed down and tried again and it was when I tried the 6th time it didn't on I became nervous and my heart was beating so fast, I went home looking sad because I didn't expect anything like that to happen that day.
