I wonder when it will happen? When will a tipping point be reached so a mass of people use Crypto, not just as a store of value, but also as a means of exchange, for buying real stuff!

Recently i became aware of two initiatives which are attempting to make #cryptomassadoption happen. These are Ecoin and Initiative Q. Both of these are currently giving away free coins. It is their unique way of mining, needing just an email address to sign up, and with a refer a friend program (limited to three levels so it's not a pyramid scheme) and be rewarded with additional free ecoins.

Today perhaps marks a day when this is moving toward a real possibility as Ecoin was listed on Probit Exchange, and when i last looked was trading at around $0.015 per ecoin. On launch, and still today, Ecoin valued the coin at $0.02.

Today also marks the day i had my first hot shower at Atmanna in Bulgaria :-). I'm very happy about that as i've been living in the house while it has been renovated for about five months. I'm waiting for a glass shower screen to arrive, and to clean up, then all will be perfect :-)

i have a couple of volunteers here at the moment helping out. Yesterday and today they have been making a brilliant job of painting the main room brilliant white.

I am in the preliminary stages of planning a #SteemCamp at Atmanna, probably in September. Comment below if you are interested, but i will post about it soon.

The coming Death of Fiat currencies?

I joined Ecoin about 2 weeks ago and was given 1000 ecoins + a 250 bonus for signing up within 1 hour of opening the link. I have since referred to friends, some of whom have signed up and also referred to their friends. My balance is now 29,025 ecoins valued (based on $0.02 each) at $581 USD.
Now, i could sell these on the Probix exchange, but i'm not going to do that. I am mildly confident that ecoin will continue to recruit and that mass adoption will be reached. This could mean the death of fiat currencies, so i would rather be holding ecoin and other Crypto's, which i think will rise accordingly! I'm also HODLing my STEEM, BTC and a few others.

Will One Billion be a Tipping Point?

How many people are needed to reach a tipping point of mass adoption? I don't know.

Ecoin's target is 1 billion sign ups. They achieved on million in 18 days, and it is predicted that one billion will be reached by the end of this year. I am hopeful.

Personally i think it will depend upon the integrity of the Ecoin founders. If they "pump and dump", cashing in their presumably very large holdings (as they would obviously have been the first referrers), then i expect Ecoin will die a death like many crypto's before.

If however the Ecoin founders are wise, they could become far richer if they do not do this, richer maybe not in monetary value (although that could be the case too), but richer in spirit. What they can potentially achieve is positive world change.

I have faith that Krishna Yogi, CEO and Founder of Ecoin, will live up to his name and the world will become a better place as a result!

Decentralised Governance of Ecoin and Initiative Q (and Steem).

Now this is what i think will make the difference as to whether one or both of these two initiative are successful. We have seen here on Steem with the @justinsunsteemit hostle takeover, that #DPOS has it's drawbacks. It doesn't mean it cannot be fixed.

Bottom Up Real Time Democrity

As some of my followers will have seen, i have been repeatedly writing about The Matrix-8 Platform which is just that. A Decentralised Governance System, a bottom up Real Time Democracy.

John Huckel @matrix-8, the designer of this system, wrote an open letter to the founders of Ecoin. I shared this in my Crypto Mass Adoption: how will Ecoin affect STEEM and other Crypto's? post 10 days ago. I also contacted Ecoin via their Telegram channel to tell them about it, and was promptly contacted by Krishna Yogi, Founder and CEO of ecoin. I shared the link to John's open letter with him. I have not heard back from him yet. Mork calling Orson. Ground control to Major Krishna. :-)

I hope and pray that Krishna is investigating and seriously considering adopting a Matrix-8 Platform, for the good of the founders, of all ecoin holders and for the good of the whole population of the world.

Initiative Q

Initiative Q bears many similarities to Ecoin, yet there are differences.

Initiave Q are also giving away Free Q (Coins) to help the masses join.

I haven't fully studied it yet, but it looks like there are only two levels of referral, and initially at least, you are only able to refer (or sign up) five people, whereas with Ecoin it is unlimited. #InitiativeQ is founded by "ex PayPal guys" and they seem to be on the ball.

So, i ask you ex PayPal guys and founders of Initiative Q, to please also read John Huckel's open letter where you will discover why adopting a Matrix-8 Platform will make Initiative Q a roaring success.

To all other people reading this, i implore you to look closely at Matrix-8, Ecoin and Initiative Q to help revolutionise our world and make all of our lives more abundant and peaceful.
