Turn the Negative Nelly in you into a positive Peter!

If you read my last few posts you will sure say that I'm a negative Nelly. It is just very hard and almost impossible to stay positive when everything around you has a negative influence.  Have you ever tried to just stay positive but it feels as if the universe is just against you at all times?

Have you ever thought of yourself as a good person? Have you ever thought of ways that you can improve yourself so that you have a better experience in the human race? 

We are so easily influenced by others and we are so set in our ways that we often do not realize how we act in front of others. If you walk past a homeless person, do you walk past as quickly as you can, or do you at least think about this poor person went through to be where they currently are? 

This is something to think about, right? We are very easy to judge others without even thinking about it. Does this make you a bad person? No, it doesn’t. We can’t always help everyone but there are ways that you can improve yourself so that you don’t look like a jerk when you walk past someone that you do not want to interact with. 

Friendliness cost nothing and a smile won't break your face. Take time during your day to focus on other people and not only on yourself. Take people into consideration and if you do, it will surely change your life. Your whole outlook of the world will change, and you might even have time to smell the roses when you are not so self-centered. 

Life is full of surprises and as they say the wheel turns. The more you do for others, the better you will feel, and realize that you can’t only receive but life is more about giving.

Make a point today to try and see the positive in everything.  Cast away all the negativity and focus only on the positive.  One step at a time things will get better.
