#ZAPFIC - tell me a tale in 240 characters or less (a micro fiction contest with Prize pool including 6 SBI 100 Marlians, 100 CCC!)

"Get that fuel gauge checked before leaving," Ron's dad warned. "You're not on my roadside coverage."

Sixty miles later, the gauge read 1/4.

Soaking wet and ashamed to call his dad, Ron had started walking for gas when the Deputy spotted him.
