I awoke this morning, sweat pouring down my brow but I felt refreshed. The night before I had done a breathing exercise when I first got into bed and afterwards went into a deep sleep, not waking until 6:30 A.M.
Upon awakening I remembered I had dreamt all night of walking and talking with a handsome doctor. He was no one I recognized but I enjoyed his company. We walked leisurely for miles until it was coming on dusk. Our conversation was not about health issues but we talked of life in general. No wonder I was sweating when I awoke.
The dream of a pleasant walk and talk with a doctor revealed to me that I was on the right path for my health with the deep breathing and spiritual exercise I did before falling asleep.
I’ve been interested in activating the chakras of the body and the deep breathing added another level to the process of opening the spiritual centres.
The colors for the seven chakras of the body are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and violet.

Last night as I visualized each chakra, I Inhaled and exhaled a few deep stomach breaths and then held my breath as I mediated for a half or so minute at each chakra. This added to the feeling of heightened awareness of the bodily functions with a tingling in my hands and feet.
Each Chakra, their color and meaning:
Root (at bottom of spine) - red - this is the foundation on how we build our life and basic trust.
Sacrum - orange - our sexuality
Solar Plexus - yellow-wisdom and personal power
Heart - green - love
Throat-blue - communication. How we speak and communicate clearly
Third Eye - purple-awareness and sixth sense
Crown - Violet - spirituality
These are the seven states of higher consciousness. Opening up the chakras can lead to better health and awareness of what is going on in our bodies.
Deep breathing and then holding the breath for awhile when visualizing each chakra will alert the body to anything wrong.
Concentrate on your body while holding your breathe and feel the blood pulsating through your veins. The releasing of tension can be felt as you are meander in a zigzag motion through the chakras.
The final action is to picture yourself bathed in a soft white light surrounded by the healing power of love.

Hi Nina @ninahaskin. The chakras are interesting and I am into anything that can keep the body healthy. :)
My intuition tells me you have a strong sixth sense and use your 3rd eye a lot in making decisions.
You probably already know this about the 3rd eye...
The third eye chakra is located in the middle of the forehead just above the eyes. The 3rd eye is associated with the pineal gland of the brain. It is the center of intuition and when it is balanced we see life clearly with insight and emotional balance.
If the 3rd eye chakra is blocked or unbalanced you may have vision and sinus problems. Also struggles with depression and mood disorders are associated with a closed 3rd eye.
I guess that’s where the Third Eye Blind band got it’s name. 😆
When going through the chakras have fun and be gentle on yourself. Staying relaxed and quieting the mind is helpful. When you get to the 3rd eye picture a swirling vortex of bluish purple color as you inhale and exhale.

Some extra info on the chakra that may need to be balanced to relief tension and give more personal power.
The solar plexus chakra is located a couple inches above the belly button at the pit of the stomach. This third chakra is associated with the digestion system and adrenal gland. If out of balance it can cause eating disorders, gut feelings of fear, anxiety and tension.
When you go through the exercise pay a little extra attention to that chakra when visualizing the color yellow swirling in the vortex surrounding it.
Have fun doing the exercise and feel the love from the universe. 💕 😊
