Welcome to my blog!
Text: Habakkuk chapter 3 verse 2(ESV:O Lord, I have heard the report of you, and your work, O Lord, do I fear. In the midst of the years revive it; in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy).
Wilt thy not revive us again: stach that thy people may rejoice in thee? (Psalm 85 verse 6) Revive thy work or Lord is a major prayer point the church at out time should treat with seriousness.
God's demands from us is not sacrifices of bulls, rams and birds but sacrifices of life that is totally laid on the altar of sacrifice. Revival fire requires the lives of men and woman with qualities of total surrender for it to burn and keep burning.
To spread the fire of revival therefore, there must continously be lives laid on the altar as living sacrifice upon which the fire from above can keep burning.
This is God's season of revival and we are witnesses to the intense spread across lands, nations, denominations, and different gates of human endeavor.
But the big issue is, the fire of revival thou kindled from the sanctuary cannot be contained within the church halls. We have believers that are so revived and spirit filled while in church, but cold in the outer society, work place, residence, business places etc.
This fire is expected to be unquenchable and unstoppable, consuming every work of the flesh and burning all over the earth knowing no bounds. (Luke chapter 12 verse 49 and 50).
This generation has been so much blinded by persuasive preaching. But this cannot replace the fire that purifies the heart and set it ablaze for God.
The secret of burning for God and not getting burnt, and the issue of keeping the fire of revival ever burning and never going out should be every believers longing.
Are you part of his Saint who have made a covenant with him by sacrifice? Do you sought for godly relevance in this season of his power? Then I urge you by the mercies of God that you present your body, spirit and soul at his feet and on the altar of sacrifice.
God is searching for a man and a church that is revived and ready to preach the gospel to conquer territories for him. Don't be blinded by the deceits of this age. Remain prayerful and a living sacrifice for the fire of revival and pacesetter for his move in the last days.
Shalom!
I am @febbykeys,
Thank you for visiting my blog, I really appreciate.
I don't see how you can apply verses in Habakkuk from the Old Testament to revival in the church age. Revival refers to a growth in the church in areas where the church has already existed for a long time.
