The recognition of the existence of God is inseparably linked with a reverential attitude, to which I would like to draw the closest attention of all the members of this Church.

Amazement is the greatest manifestation of spirituality, in essence it is spirituality.

The wonder is deep, it is respect plus love. These are "complex emotional experiences formed by mixed feelings of the soul", ... "the highest of human feelings". I already said once that if reverence is the highest state, then its absence is the lowest state that a person can be in this world ...

Amazement includes respect, reverence, and admiration. Therefore, without a certain part of this feeling, there would be no courtesy, care, or respect for other people's feelings and rights. Amazement is the fundamental virtue of religion.

Amazement is one of the signs of strength; disrespect is one of the surest signs of weakness. Whoever mocks the sacred, as one man has said, will never succeed in life. Holy things must be treated with reverence so as not to be rejected on the day of judgment.

Parents, reverence, like mercy, begins in the family! From an early age, children need to be taught to respect each other, strangers and guests, to be respectful of the elderly and the weak, to treat with reverence all things sacred, to parents, and to the love of parents.

Three types of influence on domestic life contribute to the awakening and development of reverence in the souls of children. This is, first of all, decisive but smooth leadership; second, courtesy of parents' relationships between themselves and between themselves and their children; and third, prayer, in which children must also participate. In every family in this Church, parents must strive to influence children wisely, using these three components of the educational process.

Amazement directs thoughts to God. Amazement reveals a person's high culture, his true faith in the Divine and his justice.

I want to bow to the side of love. Jesus said this first in his prayer: “Our Father who is in heaven! Hallowed be your name ... ”(Matthew 6: 9). Sanctified - dwells in holiness - is received with reverence.

If human hearts had more reverence, then there would be less room for sins and sorrows, and more for joy and happiness. Making this diamond the most attractive and beloved among other precious virtues is a goal worthy of the most concentrated and prayerful efforts of every leader, every parent, and every member of this Church.
