Luk 5:8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
This story Simon Peter and other fishermen were cleaning their nets after fishing all night without catching anything. Jesus instructs Peter to launch back out and try again.
Luk 5:4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
Luk 5:5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
The results were a big catch and something else.
The something else is what I want to look at today. This is what I see in the scriptures, but also what I have witnessed in person when God preforms a miracle.

Do you see what Peter’s response to the huge catch of fish? It is not jumping up and down and shouting Hallelujah! It is leave me Jesus, “I am a sinful man”.
Whenever God does something like this. One of His people declares the name of Jesus and the lame walk and the dumb speak, in my experience it is exactly the same. People are convicted of their sin and the theoretical God, become real and tangible. We realize He is Holy and He is there. And everyone present becomes sober and many repentant.
My thoughts today.
