Steem/Hive=SOS

I am writing this post out of desperate frustration.

As I'm writing this, I know that it will probably just sit on the new posts feed till it fades into oblivion like it never existed, but at this point I have no HP, so I can't continue commenting on every new post I see in the hope that someone will have mercy on the newbie and point him to some resource that might help him figure out how to operate in this network.
(For a "social network, it's really not very social at all, more like clique-ish)
That's what I have been doing since I signed up.
Which was advertised as being free, but it cost me $5 Eth and my Steem is delegated to someone else. Maybe thats why I was left out of the hive airdrop.

Did I join through the wrong app and get blacklisted?

Am I not a "real Steemian" as one of the "leaders of Hive" posted?

Who knows?

I can't really blame people for not replying to my comments (pleas for help).
As I've found out, it costs money to interact here.

And I was was wondering why nobody ever replied to my comments except a few courteous content creators who were just as lost as me, and someone who seemed to be just trying to get me to hang on for whatever reason, maybe because I voted for their post and followed them, idk.

When I first heard about Steem I was very excited.
I know that blockchain technology holds the potential and promise to usher in an exponential transformation in the world as it relates to individual freedom, allowing everyone who can access the internet control of their individual value. I believe it is a watershed moment in history and it is just getting started.

But the longer I struggle,
Having to go to Google and Youtube and sift through outdated info to figure out how to do the most basic tasks here and understand how to navigate and operate on this network , the more I feel that it would be unethical and counter productive to continue wasting my time here or to promote Steem/Hive to new users only to have them come here and be totally confused and ignored.

The interface is not user friendly and people who join will be very frustrated and disillusioned to find out that although everyone talks about decentralization, and the fork may have thwarted one person's attempt to take over, there is still a centralized governance who have their own purposes and intentions for this project and those who are not part of the clique are left floundering in the dark.

How can people hammer away about decentralization and the scourge of censorship while at the same time require you to use twitter to be able to access communication about a decentralized blockchain?

I tried to include some screenshots of my interactions here. ( Tried to post this to Hive and had several different issues that would not allow me to post or comment)
The error msgs when I try to access my wallet, ambiguous useless FAQs, vague comments from people that assume that I should know everything about coding and being a developer in order to be here, msgs from the network about how I am out of money required to comment on posts, but when I try to add images I just get error msgs.

From my heart with all sincerity, I hope that Hive becomes all it can be, and honestly I would love to be a part of it. At the same time, I have wasted two weeks of productivity trying to do all I can to engage and operate on their network, all to no avail.

I hope things get better soon

Have fun, give a shout when you get your shit together, but I'm sure it will be too late by then and "the man" will have taken over blockchain and further enslaved us all, Good try though! NOT!
