England captain Eoin Morgan ruled out of remaining two ODIs against India with finger injury. Jos Buttler will captain England in the last two one-day internationals against India. Sam Billings out of second ODI; Liam Livingstone to make ODI debut on Friday, March 26.

Dawid Malan drafted into squad as cover and is available for selection in playing XI. Morgan had split the webbing between his thumb and index finger during the first match on Tuesday and required stitches. The England and Wales Board (ECB) confirmed Morgan's injury on March 25, 2021. The ECB also named the captain for the remainder of the series and gave an update on Billings as well. The decision on his availability for Sunday's final match to be taken in due course, ECB said. The two matches are to be played on March 26 and 28, 2021, at the MCA Stadium.
