Hi my friends how are you? So today I will tell you about Earth.

NASA scientists reported that, during the month of July, the planet earth marked a very important challenge when registering the shortest day; A feat that has not been achieved since atomic clocks were created in the 1960s with the intention of measuring the rotation of our planet earth.
Something we have known all our lives is that, the day has 24 hours, whose exact time is 86,400 seconds. However, on June 29 of the current year, it was known that the earth made a turn in its own axis marking 1.59 milliseconds less than usual. It should be noted that, this record is the second time it is recorded since, on July 19, 2020, the turn of our planet earth was 1.5 milliseconds.
The data that scientists have documented show that, in the last two years that have elapsed, the earth has registered a more accelerated rotation thus allowing us to have the shortest 28 days in the chronological record. However, this situation is not entirely favorable because, the change of rotation will have a long-term impact on planet earth, thus manifesting itself in the slowdown influenced by the moon.
The study of the Earth's rotation is an activity that is frequently carried out
Something very indispensable that we must know in this subject is that, these changes have already had consequences and one of them is that, the duration of the day on our planet earth has registered a constant growth, a figure that approaches in 74 thousandths of seconds, translation that takes to the expression millions of years. This means that, for 1.4 billion years, it had not been experienced that a day only passed in 19 hours.
There are several hypotheses that explain the cause of this short-term trend, however, the one that has more forcefulness is climate change because, the melting in ice masses in polar territories and the deforestation that is taking place in the mountain peaks, are influencing with the deterioration of the earth.
Now, like all situations, this effect also has consequences and to understand them, remember that on planet earth, we are anchored to coordinated universal time (UTC), for its acronym in English and to make use of it, computerized and physical clocks are used which are adjusted according to their time zones.
The moon also impacts the rotation of planet earth
However, the rotation made by the earth is measured with astronomical time, marking the limitation with the relief that the crescent has and is responsible for differentiating both contexts. It should be noted that, in case the acceleration trend is maintained, they will carry out the process of introducing the negative interleaving for one second, an action that will compensate for the difference reflected.
The introduction process is carried out through the International Earth Rotation Service and is executed when the difference between astronomical time and UTC, register an ascent of more than 0.8 seconds during 1 year.
To conclude, although people do not notice these small changes, they are a big problem for computers because, we have the faculty to include a second in our mind, however, this is not possible in computers.
