Diary (21-12-2024) || "It was night time to finish the second day of irrigation work in the potato fields."

Assalamu Alaikum,
Today we have to irrigate a lot of land. We got up in the morning and went to the field and called the person whose diesel engine we borrowed so that he would bring the pump in the morning and set it up with the engine. As soon as we went to the field, he also came and we set the pump with the machine together. We tightened the nut and bolt well.

While we were setting up the machine at the water source, there was a lot of fog, the sun was peeking through the fog. We started the machine and yesterday we were fixing the plastic pipe, which is why we didn't have to do this work again today. Today our water flow is much higher than yesterday. We are clearing the water lines in each drain of the two potatoes and the water is flowing fast. We have also hired a worker today, the worker actually came home to have breakfast. We went to the field without eating in the morning.

I finished eating breakfast and went to the field again. Today we will irrigate a lot of land. I am doing this work alone in the afternoon because the workers have also gone to eat. Although it is afternoon, we have not finished watering, today we will finish the lands around this water source.

Even though it is night, we are continuing the irrigation work. At night, we are irrigating the lands near the water bodies. Due to the lack of light, we have taken our charger light and are watering. It is becoming very difficult to irrigate the potato fields at night because the drains are not very strong and whenever the water pressure increases, they break everywhere. The night has been very difficult for us. We finished our irrigation at 8.30 pm. When we finished, a farmer next to us would irrigate his potato field, so we started the machine and cleared the lines. I came home, took a bath at night, and after dinner, rested for a while. We have to go to the field once again because we have to bring the engine home. After finishing this work, we are finishing our work for today. I am very tired today and I have to sleep.
