The insect attack has appeared in some areas, but it has been washed away by the rain. Aman paddy fields are now dark green in color. Farmers are now busy tending to the fields of Ropa Aman, surrounded by greenery.

Farmers are busy clearing weeds from the fields, using the perching method to control insects, and spraying fertilizers to keep the crops healthy and increase the production of paddy. Farmers tend the crop fields like children.

Farmers say that the weather is favorable for Aman cultivation in this upazila due to occasional rains. So the farmers are in a cheerful mood. Thor will emerge from the rice seedlings after a few days. And after a few days, the smell of paddy will come out from the farmers' fields.

Abdur Rafiq, a farmer of Jhaugara, said that the crop field has become very beautiful in a few days as the weather is favorable and there are no diseases and insects in the rice. Only green and green can be seen throughout the field. Seeing this form of the crop is satisfying.

Noor Amin, a farmer said, seeing the green color of paddy all over the field fills the heart and brings satisfaction to the chest. Hopefully, if the weather is favorable like this, the yield of Ropa Aman paddy will be good this year.

Upazila Agriculture Officer, agriculturist Ruhel Ahmed, said that Aman paddy is growing beautifully this year due to favorable weather conditions. It is likely to get the expected yield this year. A few days of rain have caused some damage to crops.

However, the Upazila Agriculture Office is always working tirelessly with various suggestions and cooperation with the farmers. It is hoped that the farmers will be able to bring this year's rice home safely, inshallah.
