Opportunities that agriculture offers us!

In this season of greeting, I greet every steemians.
I also want to use this opportunity to appreciate @edgargonzalez for organizing this great contest tag “Opportunities that agriculture offers us!.

Agriculture offers us many opportunities in the world. Through agriculture one can get employment to.

1. Apiculture: provide us with honey which can be consumed locally and also used in the production of candles and cosmetics.
2. Animal science: which deal with farm animals, its production, development etc.
3. Fishery: which helps in better fish processing. Etc.

Agriculture in my country is a compulsory “inbuilt” skill every citizen must acquire. Nigeria is Blessed with almost all natural resources, good fertile land and climate weather which helps it easier for cultivation. With all Nigeria is Blessed with, it’s only necessary every individual must develop the habit of cultivation.

Agriculture plays a very important role in my country (Nigeria). Many people now engages in agriculture that any where the see a little piece of land in the front of their house the plant instead of flowers.
In my country (Nigeria) one can’t survive without it. The food we eat come from what was Planted

I love agriculture but am not really dedicated to it because of work

During last year, my family and I planted some vegetables such as pumpkin, water leaves, okra etc. We did not Plant fruit expect the one that grows on it own, and when it comes to the tubers we planted cassava and Yam Which we process the cassava to garri and Fufu.

We did not sale it, but if we were to sale it, it would have been favorable because of it season when vegetables (pumpkin) are selecting it will be more experience.

The harvest was mainly consume by us (my family) and was distribution to some friend.
