My local aquatic 💦 agricultural (catfish) 🐟🦈pond

Have you ever think of using an inside container of a refrigerator to construct a fish pond, lol😆🤣, it may sound so funny, but that exactly what I did here. Well, since the original plastic gallon for fish pond is too costly and be side a bag of cement and material for building a fish pond now isn't that affordable.

So as an original IGBO MAN from African, I have to make use of my sense then I now came up with this idea of using this as an alternative just for the moment, since the fishes are still tender, so till when the begin to mature I will now know how to get a better pond for them, but for now I think that place is convenient for them and the should manage it.

ABOUT MY CATFISH

Catfish is just the same thing with other fishes, but just that the has whiskers, or barbels, which enables them to taste and smell, so that is why the were given the name catfish. So most of them are toothless omnivores and are always long in length and big in size when the mature, and the mainly survive in freshwater, mean while the always take a long period of time to mature very well so you need to have patience while nurturing them.

IMPORTANT OF FISH FRAMING TO OUR ECONOMY (CATFISH)

• Job opportunities;

There is a proverb that says, there is no food for a lazy man, so when there is an agricultural sector for fish farming it will reduce the rate of joblessness, most especially to the youth, because fish farming needs much attention like changing their water when it is needed, feeding them and so on. So in that case, it has created a room for people to have a job doing and also jet payed.

• Provision of food;

Fish is a very nice diet which is low in fat, and it's a high source of protein, and essential vitamins and minerals, mean while, catfish can also serve as food and is generally safe to eat. When it's cooked and prepared well, it used to be so delicious and enjoyable with a mild flavor and firm texture.

• Miss of income;

Fish farming is a high source of earning an income in the agricultural sector, most especially this particular fish (catfish), when the grow at least within the space of 5-6 months it will now be ready for sale, each of this fish can be sold about 10,000 Naira which is equivalent to 40 steem as of now, so imagine when you have a fish pond that contains about 50 fishes, you will now see that you about to be the next richest man in your place, lol .

CONCLUSION

Truly, I engaged into fish farming for so many reasons, not only because of the income, but because I found much pleasure in agriculture, and I will be a living witness to testify how I have benefited from it, so am praying that very soon I will still develop the more in my fish farming.
