My Creative Writing: The Effect Of Drought Season On Crops In My Location.

Hello, good day to you all and welcome you to another season of drought time. So I will like to share with you my script on how drought season affects crops in my neighborhood.

It is true that we have 2 major seasons in my Area, Raining season and Driy season. So during rainy season, crops do grow well and cultivation becomes necessary for those that want to cultivate, and every cross that have seed benefits the earth do grow on it own without anyone watering them. So this period takes the period of 7 months before Dry season set in. Crops suffer set back due to the dry season and and what people cultivate this period can't survive except irrigation agriculture. So let brief you guys with the how this became an amazing effect in my neighborhood.

In my neighborhood, 🌿 leafs like Water Leaf, vegetable Leaf and others crops find it difficult to grow well after experiencing rainy season,it because an issue,a challenge to farmers and even what they planted can't see a new day with good weather except dryness,
This makes a lot of crops to suffer set back and farmers can't make income or even provide for their families.
As I go around some garden,I discovered that things like pineapple, vegetable Leaf, bitter Leaf which people are in need of at all time are dried off because of weather.
How ever if one is not using irrigation agriculture to operate,the need to practice agriculture during dry season became useless

• Drought can increase the risk of disease and death, including malnutrition, infectious diseases in plants.
• It's can increase the volume of dust on plants leaves

• There is water scarcity during this period of drought and can lead to water shortages in the soil that makes plants no to have more growth.

• It can lead to crops failure and also the demands of some fruit becomes low which reduces economy growth in our neighborhood.

To me, the only solution to this problem in our neighborhood is to introduce what we known as Irrigation Agriculture,a system of farming were by farmers introduced water to the their farm artificially, through the building of dams.

With this system, we will be having fresh vegetables leaves and crops that we use every day even after rainy season, mostly Water Leaf, which is economical now a days.

In my conclusion, permit me to end by saying that irrigation farming should be introduced to all farmers both commercial and subsistence farming it will really improve crops yield. An in Agriculture Extension,dams should be built because with agriculture,we will build the nation.
