How much did it cost to cultivate till harvest and what was the total profit from this crop?

This actually depends on the size of farm and the system farming you are planning to embark on because we have two types of farming which are, Subsistence farming which means a system of farming where one cultivates in small quantity for himself and the family alone, and commercial farming which means the process whereby the farmer cultivates in large quantity with the goal of marketing the products to generates income.
I remember the last time my dad cultivated cassava in large quantity for commercial purpose that was about five years ago when the prices of goods and services was on less cost and the total expenses then was N250,000 which is equivalent to 555 steem and as of now and our aim was to use the cassava to produce garri and sell it out in the market and I can still remember my dad told me that after the sells of this product the total profit he got then was more than the total expenses he spent. That's to say farming activities as a whole is something that if you invest well in it you will definitely see the outcome in form of good profit because farming is indeed a good and benefiting profession only if you know what you are doing.

What do you prefer for the new farmers? Give your own opinion.

Many people underestimate farmers and their profession thinking is not important in the community as well as the country as a whole forgetting there are the ones who help produced food for the world we are today and making it a happy and healthy place for us to live, so I don't see reasons for them to be neglected because in my country Nigerian more than 50% of the country population earns their living through farming & agriculture that is to say farming provides jobs to a greater percentage of people in my country and it also contributes greatly to support and grow many countries national income and revenue, so my advice and opinion for farmers is that don't be discouraged in anyways because you people are the best in the world keep up the good work of producing foods for the nation around the world i believe one you will see the outcome of your good work.

I have come to the end point of this amazing agricultural contest, special thanks to the organizer once again this contest, also Let's me appreciate the leadership of this community for the privilege given to us to share our ideas on this contest topic.
I invite my fellow steemians @josepha @xkool @pandora2010 to take part in this contest as well.
