Hi there, This is pea07 from Bangladesh. I am a plant lover and I deem this is a perfect place where I can share about my plants details. I am a bit late to share my gardrn with you all but hope you can find me here from now with my plants. Before start I would like to my workmate and admin of this community @mostofajaman for creating this community for us who loves plants, agriculture.

I have a balcony garden where I have some ornamental and medicinal plants. I will introduce you all with my lovely plants in my next post but today I will share how I take care of my plants.

We must trim each plant to keep the plants in the tub healthy and mature. At regular intervals the old leaves of the plant should be cut or pruned so that new and young leaves can grow easily. Some of the leaves on my snake plant were getting older causing the leaves to break up and turn yellow. Today I remove the base leaves or older leaves of the snake plant. It enhances the beauty of the plant and it will grow faster.

The purple heart in my garden has dried up parts of it in the hot sun although I have watered it enough but this plant has had too much sun so the old leaves have dried up. I discard all the old and dry leaves and water them enough to pick them and keep them in a relatively cool place.

I have moss rose plants in my garden. It is a summer plant. Currently, the monsoon season is going on so these plants should be trimmed now so that the plants can flower later in the summer. This plant blooms in beautiful colors in summer. I trim both plants. I was so busy with the garden that I forgot to take a picture of it after trimming. When I remember it in the evening, I take the picture.

My favorite plant in the small garden is Chinese bamboo. I have two species of Chinese bamboo. Weeds were growing in a tub of a species of bamboo. I weed them out and set them nicely with soil in the tub. A plant that was misplaced in this tub I picked up and replanted. Hopefully I will see good results now. For a few days I used organic fertilizers on these plants so now I am not using any more organic fertilizers

For any activity especially gardening you must be clean and tidy. My balcony becomes very messy and untidy while working in the garden. I always clean my balcony garden by hand. So I first remove the weeds to clean. Then transfer all the plants from the balcony and wash and clean them well.

It's Monsoon in my country and we all know rain water is very important for plants. I was very busy in last few days and I couldn’t take proper care of my garden. Currently my balcony doesn't get enough rain water so I transfer some of my plants to another balcony. There is no substitute for rainwater for plants. I will bring the plants to my balcony very soon, currently rainwater is very important for plants so as long as it rains, the plants will be in my next room balcony.

My coin plant has been withering for quite some time now. Initially I couldn't figure out the reason but when I tried to transfer the plants to another pot I found lots of earthworms under the soil of the tub. Although earthworms are good for the soil, if you add too much organic fertilizer to the tub soil, the earthworms will destroy the roots of the plants. So I made coin plants from earthworm soil that I would later plant in another tub. I took some pictures of earthworms to share with you.

One of my tubs was broken during this garden cleanup. It was a hanging tub though I didn't use it for a long time. But I think the plastic was weakened by the excessive sun heat and it broke after I handled it. I was able to transfer the sprout to another tub as I had enough extra tubs.

This was my first post on caring for my balcony garden. Let me know if you learn anything from this post. Then I will be quite happy and inspired to share new posts later.

Since these tasks I did on a specific day, it can be considered a diary game post, I guess.
