My Diary Game: 6/Ang / 2024

A warm regards to each and everyone of you my fellow steemians, it's a great pleasure to be here again, I sincerely want to believe that you guys had a great day today. As for me, I mine was a busy one and am here to share it with you guys.

Like I said earlier, my day was a busy one as a spent all of it day in my plantain farmlands today.

After my morning chores of keeping my compound and it's environment clean and tidy I had to assist my beloved wife with preparing the breakfast since she was not feeling too well.

After taking care of the necessary things in the house I had to leave for the farm has I had a whole lot to do today. I started with uprooting some of the plantain plants from where they were much while leaving the ones that were still healthy and already fruiting.

After a few minutes of break and had a little refreshments I head back to work. I begin with raking together the area I had cleared last week which was well dried because the sun had shine for almost a week now and I new it was time to burn them out.

As for the areas that I have cleared I want to use it for late planting of cassava and vegetables like pepper, pumpkin, water leaf and okra.

As we all know one of the challenges we as farmers faced with regards to this late planting of a thing has to do with the constant heat of the sun that is prevalent in the dry season and so I any who hope to harvest some thing nice should start early.

Aside from stating early, one must also give a serious thought to the type of crops we plants during this period and most importantly one must give attention to water supply and other factors.

I was there in the farm till it's was very late in the evening and so I had to retire until tomorrow. So my fellow lovers of agriculture is there any useful information or experience you like to share with me about late planting.
