Ashoka Scientific name: Saraca asoca, Saraca indica), (English: Yellow Ashok, Yellow Saraca) is a species of tree in the family Fabaceae. It is sometimes mistakenly known as Saraca indica. The flower of the Ashoka tree is the state flower of the Indian state of Orissa.
