BANGKOK, Aug 30 -- Being away from the home has not stopped Malaysians in Thailand from ensuring the Merdeka spirit is truly felt with various programmes lined up to mark their love for the country.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Ladies Association (PERWAKILAN) in Bangkok organised a mini celebration with children of embassy staff here donning traditional attire as they took part in various activities to mark the country's 63rd National Day tomorrow.
Thirty-three participants, aged three to 16, sang patriotic songs, recited poetry, decorated cakes and took part in colouring and clothes designing activities.
