There will be a little less weed in circulation to celebrate 4/20 tomorrow after a Malaysian man was allegedly busted with over 40 kilograms of narcotics in the largest haul of heroin and cannabis in over two decades.
The unidentified 22-year-old man has been charged with trafficking drugs following his Friday arrest near Choa Chu Kang Avenue 4, the Central Narcotics Bureau announced today. The seized drugs, some of which were stored in a large duffel bag in the storeroom of a home, were estimated to be worth over S$2.3 million (US$1.7 million). It was enough to supply around 10,000 drug users for a week, according to the bureau.
