Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas proclaimed a 30-day highly sensitive situation on Thursday after coronavirus cases were accounted for in the West Bank town of Bethlehem.  

The pronouncement was reported by Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh hours after authorities shut Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity, the customary origin of Jesus, and prohibited outside voyagers from West Bank lodgings.  

"We have chosen to proclaim a highly sensitive situation in every single Palestinian zone to stand up to the threat of the coronavirus and keep it from spreading," Shtayyeh stated, perusing from the pronouncement.  

Shtayyeh said Abbas had given him full position to regulate execution, and that he had as needs be chosen to close all schools, universities and kindergartens and to drop remote traveler reservations.
