Climate change on track to wipe out polar bears by 2100

Normally, when scientists set a target, it is on the positive side, like reducing this so much carbon emissions in 20 years, or regenerate a particular coral reef area in the next decade. Though it's not really a target to be achieved as it is on the negative, scientists say that we are on track on decimating the polar bear population in the next century, given our current climate change situation.

The problem is that the scientist have thus far been pretty poor at climate prediction. I'm not saying we shouldn't pay attention but a prediction like this has a great deal of uncertainty in it.

Yes indeed, they have a certain degree of uncertainty.
