Yesterday, United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Bonnie Glick participated in meetings with the Government of Morocco led by the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation. During these meetings, the DFC discussed opportunities to expand investment in Morocco.
Deputy Administrator Glick had the opportunity to meet with Moulay Hafid Elalamy, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Green and Digital Economy, as well as other private sector partners, to discuss USAID's interest in continuing to build public-private partnerships with Moroccan public educational institutions and international businesses, such as the Digital Center established in partnership with EON Reality, the Ministries of Industry and Higher Education, and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, which trains the next generation of experts on virtual and augmented reality.
