UFC Fight Night 171: Anthony Smith vs. Glover Teixeira https://www.casinobillionaire.com/bet-on-ufc-3540.php
On Wednesday, May 13, VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville will host the UFC's first Fight Night following UFC 249.
The main event will feature a Light Heavyweight bout between No. 3 Anthony "Lionheart" Smith and No. 8 Glover Teixeira.
Prelims start at 6 PM ET, and the main card at 9 PM.
At the tender age of 31, Smith has enjoyed a long and successful MMA career mostly as a Middleweight fighter, but moving up to Light Heavyweight in 2018. He's put together a 33-14 overall record in the process and has faced off with several of the best Light Heavyweight fighters in the UFC.
Jon Jones and Thiago Santos added to Smith's losses, but the Nebraskan did manage to go the distance with Jones at UFC 235. Smith bounced back from that loss with a victory (Rear-Naked Choke) over Alexander Gustafsson last June. Nine years Smith's senior at age 40, Teixeira (30-7 career) also fought Alexander Gustafsson, but lost in the fifth round in the main event of Fight Night 109.
Since then, he's gone 4-1, with the loss coming from Corey Anderson after going the distance. Now he's in the underdog role with +150 odds against the younger Smith (—185).
