Tokyo Olympics coordinators said on Wednesday that neither the Tokyo 2020 sorting out panel nor the International Olympic Committee was thinking about deferring or dropping the 2020 Games regardless of the spread of coronavirus.
Prior, an individual from the getting sorted out advisory group's official board had revealed to Reuters that a deferral of a couple of years would be the "most possible" alternative if the Tokyo Olympics can't be held this late spring due to the coronavirus flare-up.
