Taiwan scientists discovered a new form of cell division without the duplication of DNA. This has incredible implications for the world of medicine and shows that there are still things to discover about the world of biology. The mechanism seems to be a way of fast regenerations as the duplicated cells cover wounds and can't survive for long. Therefore they are substituted by healthy cells after the growth spurt.
