No clue what you are talking about. Anyone can post whatever they like there as long as it is legal content.
Tell that @penguinpablo who posts daily statistics on Steem and Hive. Only the Steem witnesses didn't like the stats so they blocked him.
Of course strictly speaking he can still post but you won't be able to read his postings:
Do note the 3494 posts
on the screenshot.
And speaking of statistics the Steem witnesses didn't like, you can still see them on Hive and it's not looking good. For both platforms:

Daily account transacting is probably the most telling one:
It's basically a flat line at around 2×10k. Now consider that before the fork it was 25k and a lot of users, like me, double post I suspect Steem and Hive lost half the user base with the fork and there are only 12k active users in total.
On both chains new accounts are created but those don't result in more accounts transacting.
No clue what you are talking about.
That would suggest that you are the one who is uninformed. Both chains have API level blocklists which where added after that one account started to post rather spicy government leaks.
And with the fork both chains have confiscated or frozen user funds. Something a blockchain should never do.
Complain to steemit thieves. I mean steemit witnesses. J Sun's stooges.

Trust me, I did. I also complained on Hive. I make it clear at every opportunity that I oppose any mandatory blacklist/blocklist. Be it for postings or financial transaction.
Voluntary “opt in” blacklists are a different matter. I can vet them for quality and decide to join or not.
