Trust me, I did. I also complained on Hive. I make it clear at every opportunity that I oppose any mandatory blacklist/blocklist. Be it for postings or financial transaction.

Voluntary “opt in” blacklists are a different matter. I can vet them for quality and decide to join or not.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
