The word conservation can be said to as the preservation of natural resources from loss, waste, or exploitation to ensure their continued availability, for future generations.

Some of the reasons for conservation are;

• To save them from permanent destruction

• to preserve rare and valuable species of plants and animals for future generations

• forest that provides medical materials should be conserved to ensure continued existence.

When it comes to how natural resources like water can be conserved, we can conserve water maintaining proper usage in other to avoid lack of water in the societies.
