Share a small, stress free profitable business idea for new entrepreneur

A entrepreneur is someone who starts or own a business, whether is is farming, retail, manufacturing or in the private sector. He or she also undertakes risks of starting a new business venture. When starting a new business a wise entrepreneur will always look for a way to succeed, have a creative plan in mind and also make wise decisions towards his business. In the world today, there are so many businesses one can do to earn a living provided the capital is there.

One of the many business that i think an entrepreneur can start is POS business. Point of sale(pos) is a Business which requires one to be able to operate the POS machine, perform withdrawal and transfer transaction into or out of your bank account. All the transactions done are recorded in the POS and are being paid for by the customer. It is like a mini bank which is accessible to everyone. It is a business which many people are doing and I find it very profitable if located in the right area.

Which location would suite them best for the business and how much money can they start with.

A location of a business is one of the things which determines whether a business will be successful or unsuccessful. A good location of a business brings customers, and more money and for the pos business I would say that the best location for this business is in the market where many buying and selling takes place because some may not have the cash and wish to withdraw from their card and so the assistance of a pos is best needed in the market place. Another location for starting up this business is in the streets or road side, sometimes people don't have the time to go to banks to withdraw money and instead they go to pos to do their transaction without wasting much time.

What are the possible benefits and disadvantages of this business.

Advantages

One of the advantages of this business is that you will always have profit everyday because almost everyday people use money either to buy goods or to buy something and so pos is always needed somewhere. Another advantages of doing this business is that it makes you open minded to digital devices. For one to be able to operate a pos machine, he or she must have known how to navigate and operate technological devices such as computers, mobile phones etc.

Disadvantages

One disadvantage is that it is time consuming, doing a business such as pos business requires a lot of time and focus because in a day you may have up to 50 or more customers coming to do different pos transactions and as such needs time to operate. Another disadvantages of this business is that it can be dangerous at times depending on the kind of location you find yourself. For example if it is a place where bad boys and armed robbers stay and are uncontrollable it is best to be always careful and not to stay late at night doing this business, whereas its a place where it is safe and good to do business then doing this business is good in that location.

In Nigeria, this business is almost everywhere and well known. Doing this business is like the easiest and most profitable business one can do provided he or she has enough cash to give people when they withdraw, a good network service which does not interrupt and a friendly relationship with your customers to make them trust you and come another time to do pos.
