The future of my country by @hudamalik20

Hello Everyone !

We all belong to a country, each facing its unique challenges and moments of difficulty. Some of us enjoy the benefits of good governance, while others suffer due to mismanagement.

In my country, Pakistan, many citizens live in hardship due to economic struggles and poor governance. Despite the country's potential, the rich get richer while the poor face increasing difficulties.

Given the current situation, it's clear that the future looks uncertain. I'm excited to participate in the contest The future of my country organized by @bonaventure24 . I’d love to share my thoughts on the state of my country and read about the experiences of others.

🎯 How do you view the future of your country?

The future of my country doesn't seem very bright to me. The current government didn't come into power according to the people's mandate. Instead, they used money to buy their way in. As a result, our country's situation is getting worse. Inflation is rising day by day.

Just recently, there was a significant increase in electricity bills, making it impossible for poor people, who already earn very little, to afford basic necessities. Many people are living in poverty.

This morning, I heard heartbreaking news about a woman who, unable to afford her electricity bill, tragically took her own life.

Our true leader, Imran Khan, who has the support of the majority, is being kept in jail by the current government.

Meanwhile, those in power are only focused on their own benefits, setting up factories and increasing their own salaries, but doing nothing for the common people.

If this government continues to rule, our country will keep deteriorating. Neither I nor the people of our country trust this government because they didn't come into power through our votes. Instead, they are making their wealth abroad and ruining our country.

🎯 Do you think the government are living up to expectations?

Not at all. If you ask me or any citizen, whether they are rich or poor, everyone is frustrated with this government. They aren't doing anything for the welfare of the people because they didn't come to power based on our votes. They came to power through corruption.

People didn't want to see them in power, and as a result, they aren't doing anything for the public's benefit. They know that they won't get our votes next time, so they are only trying to benefit a few people.

Take the example of Maryam Nawaz in Punjab. Since coming to power, she has mostly focused on publicity stunts. She launched a few programs to make the government look good, putting up billboards everywhere claiming to launch free buses and bikes. But in reality, no progress has been seen, and no one has received these bikes.

They haven't lived up to the people's expectations at all. People wanted lower electricity bills, but instead, prices for electricity and petrol have increased. People protest daily, but the government doesn't pay attention and just blames the previous government for the difficult decisions they are making now.

🎯 With what is currently happening in your country do you think that your future lies there or not?

I'm not optimistic about my future here given the current situation. Our country's condition isn't improving. Recently, I saw on the news a middle-class man struggling to pay his electricity bill, which now costs as much as his entire month's salary, even though he only uses basic appliances like fans and lights. This highlights the drastic rise in electricity prices.

There's no indication that prices will decrease anytime soon. Instead, things seem to be getting more expensive over time. If this government remains in power, conditions will likely worsen, increasing poverty and making even basic necessities like food hard to afford.

🎯 Are the citizens of your country living in happiness or in sadness?

Most citizens in my country are living in sadness, especially those from middle-class families. As I mentioned earlier, the increasing prices of essential goods and services, like electricity, have made life very difficult. While the upper-class and business owners may benefit from the price hikes, those with regular or private jobs are not seeing any increase in their salaries.

Most people in our country are struggling to make ends meet, and many can barely afford two meals a day. News and social media are filled with stories of people facing hardships and expressing their dissatisfaction with the current government. The general sentiment is one of despair, and people have lost hope in the current leadership.

That's it from today's blog I hope you will like it. With best wishes ❤️. Now I like to invite @sualeha, @yenny47 and @neelofar to participate in this amazing contest.

When I thought Nigerians are the only one going through all this kind of pains and suffering, I’m also seeing same thing in Pakistan.

The leader people wanted , what did he do to the government that he was thrown into prison?
